​I was raised in the Sierra Nevada foothills, and spent much of my childhood crafting, making, and enjoying the outdoors. This has strongly informed my design practice.

My  love for design  is  rooted  in  craftsmanship, and has evolved to encompass expressive form development, materiality and sustainability.
